Just the other day as I arrived home, I noticed this injured butterfly near my car. I couldn’t keep my eyes off of this little fellow. He was amazingly persistent in his efforts to fly again. I tried to help it, but that butterfly wasn’t having it! It was determined to fly again on it’s own. As I gazed in amazement, I started to think about my life. If you are breathing, which you must be if you are reading this lol, then at some point in your life you too have experienced some kind of injury whether financially or physically. We all experience injuries at one time or the other. But just what if we persistently kept the faith that we too would fly again (with action of course accompanying our faith). One thing I have learned is that suffering in some way will come during our life time. We however, can choose how we will face these times. Will we give up or will keep the faith and keep flapping our wings? Every injury has taught me valuable lessons: endurance being one of them. So when injuries come, refuse to give up and just let life happen. Instead, choose to get up and allow Him to work so that true healing can happen.
When injuries come, I remember I serve Thee One.
The One who created everything and everyone.
My life is in his hands and though Him I find the courage to stand.
Although injuries may come, I choose to endure for I know He is working
